Several years ago, when I began my journey into digital scrapbooking, I attempted to start a blog. I had 5 kids at home, a full time job, and numerous responsibilities....needless to say, the blog went by the wayside in favor of the quicker and easier Facebook posts. It wasn't until I journeyed into the world of teaching that I realized that having a blog was one of the easiest ways to communicate to you all the information that I have stored up in my little head! From tutorials to classes that I teach to layouts that I scrap and even bits and pieces about my day that I think might put a smile on your face, these little tidbits are all part of me and something I would like to jot down. It seems that in this fast paced world, writing is a lost art. We have shortened all of our words, we write quick blurbs about our day and post them at random times and we even have smiley faces to show our emotions, but the written word as it was intended, is definitely a lost art. I love to write. I don't do it often enough, but putting my feelings down on a piece of paper is calming to me. In fact, since I am a pretty outspoken person, sometimes it is BEST that I write it down instead of actually SAY what is on my mind, because it gets me to actually think before I speak!
I invite you to join me here, whether it is daily (my biggest hope) or several times a week as I share my experience in parenting, working, scrapping, cooking, teaching or just whatever is on my mind! My blog is an extension of me and as such, I want you to come on in, kick of your shoes, share a laugh or two and maybe even learn a little about my passions: photography and digital scrapbooking!Oh..and don't forget to invite a friend!
